Roll on the summer for the Lakeside Wheelers youths squad.
In the Under 12's also we had Jamie put in some super efforts over the two days and is getting stronger every weekend. In the Under 14's we had Conor Farrell (2nd) who is raking up the miles with this being his 3rd weekend out and growing in experience.
We had a super four man Under 16 team who rode well allbeit not at their 100% potential due to various issues from nose bleeds to crashes but we will be ready for Kanturk in two weeks time.
Eight of the Lakeside youths team took on the challenging two-day, three stage Rás na nÓg this weekend and flew the Lakeside Wheelers flag very high.
Coaimhe and Aoife came home with high honours, Caoimhe for the most combative of the weekend after getting back in the race after a nasty crash and coming first Under 14 girl and Aoife for winning first girl across three stages in the Under 12s.
