All cycling and triathlon clubs welcome (Cycling Ireland or Triathlon Ireland licence required). The next report will be on Round 4 which takes place in Horseleap on Monday 11th August. Further details can be found at www.shanonsidecc.com .
This series will run every Monday in July and for the early part of August across varying distances and locations. There will be prizes for overall riders in each category at the end of the series with all events being handicapped. TT bikes, aero helmets and equipment are all permitted.
We were represented by Stuart Cox, Andy Vambeck, and Martin Savage. All put in strong times with Stuart getting the best placed Wheeler on the evening with a time of 21.50 and in doing so secured 3rd place.
On Monday 28th July Shannonside CC hosted round 3 of the Midlands individual Time Trial series in Clara. Graham O'Brien and Pauric Cooke were joint 1st on the evening with times of 21.05 for the course.
