The success story that is the Lakeside Wheelers Youth team continues to give up great stories and this weekend was further evidence that the production line is teeming with talent. Caoimhe O’Brien was representing Ireland at the Junior Tour of Scotland and competed very well with her team. Congratulations Caoimhe on a great milestone in your cycling career and hopefully there is lots more to come.

On the home front the youths were over the border in Co. Meath at the Joey Whyte series of races promoted by Stamullen Road Club. Once again the team were to the fore with Aaron Wade getting up for a fine second place in the U16 race and his teammate Conor Farrell not far behind in 5th position. Well done to all who represented the club last weekend.

A belated congrats to junior rider, John Boyne, who rode very well in the A3 race two weeks ago in Co.Louth and claimed 3rd unplaced Junior.

Aaron Wade heading for the line and 2nd place in Stamullen.
