Wednesday, 14th June is the date for our annual criterium race which will see many of Ireland’s top cyclists displaying their skills on the closed streets of Mullingar town centre. Unfortunately this exciting event had to be cancelled last year due to adverse weather conditions so hopefully the rain stays away this year.
Racing will get under way at approximately 6.45pm with the first of four scheduled races. If any members are available to assist with the running of this event please contact Jerry Waugh or Joe Duffy.
In other racing news, congratulations to John Boyne who finished 3rd Junior home in the A3 race at the Seamus Kennedy Memorial last Sunday promoted by Dunboyne Cycling Club.
