"Not for the faint hearted"
Saturday was forecast to be wet but a hardy group assembled at O' Briens. Not to disappoint, a shortened route was selected. Pat took charge of the C group and headed north.
Gerry took the D group and headed for Dalystown, the original plan was to head for Rochfortbridge but the drizzle dictated a detour onto the Ballinagore road and on to Castletown.
True to her word Cathy had the Forge open and the heat on. As quick as a flash she had fresh scones, croissants and a varied selection of coffee's served to all.
After a very enjoyable break the consensus was to head home on the Greenway. A very nice 33km.
Delighted to welcome Martin to the group. Hopefully he enjoyed the company and we will see him next week.
On behalf of the D group we would like to offer our condolences to Mick Donoghue on the sad death of his brother, John. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
