Lakeside Wheelers youths section had another great days racing at the Killmessan GP on Sunday. Honours went to Conor Farrell (5th U16), Aoife O'Brien (3rd U12), Caoihme O'Brien taking on the U14 boys and Aaron Wade going on a solo break in the U16 race whilst Sean Kennedy narrowly missed out on a podium slot.

Team manager, Philip Wade stated that all Wheelers rode very well with no shortage of bravery from the juniors on duty. On top of all that John Boyne got his second race closed out on a tough course and continues to improve. Best wishes to the “other” Conor Farrell who took a nasty crash on one of the bad bends on the course and had to retire due to injuries. Hopefully he will be back on track for the next big event. Congrats to all and well done.
