Despite the year drawing to a close the Youths are training away on Saturdays and Wednesdays in preparation for the coming season. Their new coaching regime under Damien Shaw is progressing very well and there are plans to incorporate strength and conditioning sessions, bike fitting and Watt Bike tests in the New Year.

Special mention is due to Aaron Wade for his exploits across the Irish Sea in recent weeks. Aaron has been guesting for the Manchester based track team Sport-City Velo over the last few months in the Manchester Regional Track League and he was recently promoted to compete in the Under 23 races due to his performances at Under 16 level so well done Aaron.

To bring the curtain down on the current year and to celebrate their fantastic achievements this season the younger Wheelers will be partying the evening away on December 20th in Rock n Bowl. Have a great party folks and well done in 2017.
