Round Two of Summer League

The format of this year’s club race league has been changed to try and encourage more members from all categories to participate. Following on from the first round TT a few weeks ago Round two was held last Sunday. This was a very novel treasure hunt which was blessed with glorious sunshine and perfect cycling conditions. Teams of four were picked from all the usual groups and a bit like the lottery, they had to pick numbers from a bag which corresponded to a destination to which they had to cycle.

On arrival at the chosen landmarks the team had to take a “selfie” and then return to the clubhouse and pick two more numbers. The team which managed to get to the most landmarks in the allotted time was declared the winner.

Well done to Mark Horohoe, Jack Nugent, Carmel Buckley and Seamus Moran. This proved to be a huge success and was great craic for those involved.

Thanks to Eoghan Kevlihan who organised with Mickey Hynes and Joe Duffy helping out on the day.
