As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, that if Paul Crowley continued with his excellent vein of form I would have to give him is own separate section. Well I’m delighted to report that Paul will be racing next year as an A2 rider after gaining enough points to securing an upgrade to the dizzy heights of A2 racing.

Paul Crowley
Paul managed to get into yet another breakaway of five riders with four other riders on the final lap of an enthralling championship race. With not long left till the end of the race the group very quickly got into their rhythm and built up a thirty second gap on the last lap of the testing course in Dundalk and managed to hold off the bunch. Paul but in some very big turns in order to help the breakaway stay away till the end knowing that if they held the bunch at bay he would gain the few valuable points he required for his upgrade.

Indeed the group did stay away till the end and an elated Paul took 5th in the sprint crossing the line with a grin on his face knowing he had achieved his season’s goal! Congratulations and good luck with the winter training and next year Paul!
