News is just coming through that Team Lakeside Wheelers has brought the cutain down on their foray into India with a fantastic fourth place in the final stage of the inaugural Tour De India.  The 130km race, which was held on the famous Buddh Formula 1 circuit in Delhi, in over 30 degrees of heat, was contested at a blistering pace with the riders completing the testing F1 lap in an incredible 7 minutes.
Shay O'Toole has been keeping us up to date with the fortunes of Lakeside Wheelers.   See his Tour De India blog Wheelers Go Global for a full account of today's (Sunday 9th December) stage as well as the entire trip.  Thanks for that Shay and just as well, given the very poor coverage of the event in India itself, the event's official website and by international media.
