In recent weeks a small but dedicated group of members nominated by the committee have been meeting regularly with the aim of putting a club development plan in place for all members. The main aim of this plan is to ensure that members who participate in cycling for leisure or competitive reasons can develop and learn as much as they want about the sport in a structured and safe manner.

The exact details of this plan will be unveiled in the coming weeks and will start with a programme of activities to cater for riders of all standards throughout the winter. These activities will, when possible, be held in the clubhouse and will include indoor turbo sessions, conditioning sessions, jogging sessions and depending on weather conditions, night rides along the Old Rail Trail or Royal Canal Greenway So, if you are looking for something to get you through the long winter evenings you have no excuses, just make sure you have good quality front and rear lights (for daytime and nigh time), gym gear and running shoes.

A full programme and plan will be issued via email to all members in the near future so please come along and be part of this new venture.

The clubhouse will be a hive of activity this winter.
