When I arrived out to ORS this morning (Sunday) I could see that a lot of people decided to do the right thing & stay indoors. I hope this was just to do with the weather & nothing to do with the party on Friday night!  The one good point, if you could call it good, was that we got to utilise our new mudguards which all worked to good effect!

There were still plenty of cyclists out, with four different groups (One A  group, Two B groups & One C Group) setting out in one direction or another. I took up position within the A group as usual with six other brave souls, but slowly the group of seven soon started to get smaller & smaller with people deciding that the conditions were too bad.

I have to admit that I was one of them, when passing by the entrance to my estate the urge was too great for me & I headed for the warmth of my cosy bed. Four hardy men, Mark Horohoe, Morgan Dempsey, Conor Eighan & Paul Crowley, continued on with their spin to Ballynacargy, Legan, Edgeworthstown and home via Bun hill and got in a very respectable spin of about 70km.
