Spring Spin Participants from 2011Paraic Devine has asked me to remind those of you planning to take part in the 2012 Spring Spin Cycle challenge on 21st and 22nd April to get their entries in as soon as possible. David Mitchell is working away on this year's Spring Spin Jersey, which like last year's will be personalised with your name on display on the front and back of the jersey. In order that David can get the order placed to ensure delivery in time for the event, it's important to have all the entries in at the earliest possible date.

There will be a slight variation to this year's edition of the Spring Spin. For safety reasons we'll be avoiding the stretch of N4 at The Downs/Clongowney, taking a route via Curraghmore to the Park Hotel interchange. Our mid-way stop-off will be slightly further on than previous years, at Annaduff GAA Club, which means of course that we won't have to leave the N4 at Rooskey. As we're back in the Sligo Park Hotel this year, we'll be turning off the N4 earlier than last year at the Dromahair exit.

After this coming weekend, there will be just six short weeks to the Sligo cycle so hope the training is going well.

You'll find full details of the Spring spin, including Entry Form, at www.springspincycles.org or by contacting Paraic Devine (087 9324752 / paraic.devine@gmail.com) or Kevin Monaghan (087 2801330 / kpmonaghan@gmail.com).
Thanks for the update Paraic, and for anybody who is still undecided about taking part, I can’t recommend this cycle enough. It’s for a very worthwhile cause & is also run extremely well.
