(Thursday 13th April 2017)
Damien Shaw has successfully defended the yellow jersey in the 5-day Tour Du Loir-et-Cher professional race, finishing at the same time as the stage winner and retaining his 6 second lead.  On a flat fast 184km stage, Damien and his An Post Chain Reaction team worked well along with other teams to keep things under control and reeling in a four-man break that at one stage had accumulated a two minute lead on the chasers.

Tomorrow's stage is a 211km stage from Savigny-sur-Braye to Vendome.  We wish Damien and his An Post Chain Reaction team every success in their efforts to retain the overall lead.
