Junior Wheelers Enjoy The Autumnal Sun

posted 22 Oct 2012, 11:38 by Kevin Monaghan
This week the junior group set off with around 20 riders. Tyrellspass was the destination and as we are coming close to the end of the junior spins we used the flat roads out as a good cool down session by keeping the pace relatively slow and just spinning the legs.

We stopped in Tyrellspass castle for a proper sit-down break with everybody enjoying some tea and toast and a good chat. We then headed towards Rochfortbridge with a few of us stretching our legs by upping the pace on Gneevebawn hill.

We regrouped in Rochfortbridge and headed for home again just spinning the legs, practicing our 'up and over' formation and enjoying the autumn sunshine. When we arrived home we had a good 45km in our legs with an average of around 24km/h.
