The hilly cycling circuit on Fagan's farm.
On St. Stephen's Day, Dave Fagan and family played host yet again for the annual mini-triathlon around the farm in Crookedwood. Once again, the deluge of rain that fell didn't deter a few hardy souls who turned up for this very festive event.

The format is suitable for all fitness levels and even includes those who just want a good walk to stave off Cabin Fever. The Tri. starts with a handy, but hilly bike spin through one of the most scenic areas in Westmeath then a short run, and ends up with an optional dip into Lough Derrevaragh for those with a “Death Wish”.

The carrot, there always has to be one, is a few hot toddies, some grub and a good old fashioned natter in the yard before everybody heads off home to finish the turkey. Well done to all who attended and thanks to Dave, Ann Marie and family for another great day.
