Eoin Lynch on top after Stage 1 of Time Trial League

posted 16 May 2011, 14:08 by Kevin Monaghan   [ updated 17 May 2011, 05:33 ]

Tuesday evening last saw the first stage in the new Time Trial League, which will run for the summer months.  There was a great turn out for this newly devised TT league, with 22 riders lined up for the race of truth.   The course selected for the first stage was that used in the 2010 Mullingar 2-Day, a testing course with a couple of nice drags, starting at The Covert pub in Ballinafid and finishing just short of the Castlepollard exit.

There were some good times posted.  With the handiap system applied, Eoin Lynch sits at the top of the table followed by Damien Shaw and Eamon Hogan.   Well done to everyone and thanks to those who assistd with time-keeping and marshalling.

The second round is on Tuesday May 24th so mark the date in your diary.
We'll be meeting at the start location at 6:30pm with sign on up to 6:45pm and the first person will be off at 7pm.
