The trip to Ballinasloe in September is now open for booking so please reserve your space as early as possible. This social cycle will be the perfect way to round off the summer cycling season and has something for all abilities.

The plan is to depart from the clubhouse at 11am on Saturday September 24th and return on Sunday 25th. There will be two routes, the faster and longer spin will travel via the Slieve Bloom Mountains whilst the more leisurely cyclists will take the direct route.

All cyclists will meet and stay overnight in the four-star Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe where dinner will be served that evening. This top class hotel has an extremely nice leisure centre with swimming pool which will be available to all cyclists on the trip.

On Sunday there will be a bus provided for those who do not wish to cycle back to Mullingar and non-cycling partners are also very welcome to come along for the weekend. The price is 75 Euro per person sharing for dinner, bed and breakfast. A 20 Euro deposit will be required to reserve your slot so don’t delay, email or speak to Gerry Wallace, Carmel Buckley, Roibeard O’Ceallaigh or Joe Duffy.
