Well that’s it, the race season is over for the wheelers with the last two big races of the year done this weekend, Charevile 2 day and the Betty Darcy Memorial in Wicklow. We also had club member Conor Eighan racing in the Galway Half Ironman, it looked like the race was made more difficult by the weather so well done Conor!

Congratulations to Eoghan Kevlihan who took 4th place in the A4 race on Sunday in Wicklow. Eoghan has been placing just outside the top results each week so its great to see he put some points on the board this weekend! The race circuit was over three laps with some challenging little hills and some fast flat sections. The weather was miserable with only 15 finishing in the A2 race, so well done Eoghan!

I have not spoken to Peter but the results show he finished 15th overall at the last stage race of the year, his best result of the weekend being 9th in the time trial only 20 odd seconds down on first place. Well done Peter a good way to round off a great season!
