Cold, we had, frost thankfully we had not, and yet again we had a super turnout for the Sunday spin. With a total of approximately forty five ready and willing cyclists eager to hit the road at 9a.m.   A route towards Tullamore was the order of the day as winds were forecast from the south/southwest.

To mix things up a bit we took a route often taken from Tullamore to Tyrrellspass via Rahugh and reversed it.   After a tea break in Tullamore we headed out the Clara road towards Horseleap and then onto the winding and slightly hilly road for home.

What makes this club such a great club to be a member of is that no matter what group you go out for a spin with, at whatever level, you cycle with great people and today was no exception. Everyone worked well together averaging a speed of 26km/h for 85km on what was a hilly route. Well done all!
