August Bank Holiday Weekend Cycles

With a noticeable chill in the air that we haven’t felt for some time, all three groups departed in different directions. Robbie took the A group to Longford via Ballymahon, in the absence of Conor, the B group was led by Joe Duffy (who tells me that the Into the West tour is only six weeks away and entries are flooding in, so if you intend taking part get registered ASAP to avoid disappointment) headed straight through the town and eventually made off in the direction of Carrick boy/ Longford and the C group led by Arthur Dempsey, went towards Ballymahon and home via Moate. By all accounts there was nothing of note to report from any of the spins and all seemed to have a very enjoyable workout.
A special note of thanks to the aforementioned Arthur Dempsey, for stepping in and taking on the role of C group leader for the remainder of the 2010 season.
