Why & when did you take up cycling?
I have been a triathlete for the last number of years and liked the disciplines involved, my favourite of course was cycling.  Last year I decided to focus on cycling only and I am really enjoying taking it to a new level.
 
No of hours training during week?
I train 8-10 hours a week, it depends on my schedule as I work full time and I have a busy house with 2 young children.
 
Best & worst cycling moment?
Best – any race that I finished upright this year..!  I have really enjoyed taking part in the Ladies races and I was delighted to finish 6th in round 4 of the League in Castlecomer on the 1st June, definitely the highlight.
 
I was unlucky to be involved in a few crashes in the Ladies National League, thankfully no serious injuries and it has not put me off cycling.
 
While there is a lot of commitment involved in training for the Nationals, we make sure to have a bit banter and craic.  I am looking forward to competing in the Nationals especially in my home town.
