Melaine is one of the most talented female riders and married to Ryan Sherlock who is one of Ireland’s most accomplished cyclists.  He has been her coach since 2007 when she started cycling. 

This year Melaine joined Danish Team Rygter as it is more convenient for her to race in Europe as her family life and work are based in Dublin.
