![]() Every year we have made great strides in this section of the club since its inception in 2008. We try to keep it fresh and new each year. So this year in conjunction with Cycling Ireland we will be delivering a brand new project called Sprocket Rocket. Basically it will teach the nippers all the invaluable skills necessary to cycle their bikes in a safe and competent manner. .Another item that may interest them is the loads of free goodies that will be on offer.
Cycling Ireland specify it suitable for 7-11 year olds but as in other years the “stabiliser gang” have contributed to the enjoyment of our Monday nights so we will TRY to cater for the stabilisers again and up to 14 year olds Please see attachment and any further details will be explained on registration night. All interested will HAVE to register on registration night. No entries can be accepted after this date as we need to get numbers off to Cycling Ireland. Some of the club members that have kindly given up their time to get trained up and will assist in delivering this course are Michelle Culligan, Paula Murray, Muirna Walsh, John Boyan, Sean Gaffney, Noel Delaney, Nigel Scarff and Robbie Kenny.
Also in the interest of safety the club committee would appreciate that all parents would - as in previous years - stay and maybe lend a hand for the duration of the event each week. So the details are...
