One of the last club events of this year is the Club Hill Climb which takes place Sunday week, October 9th, in Multyfarnham.

The Sunday morning club spin will start as normal from the ORS at 9.00am.

The A, B and C group leaders will decide the route so as to allow the group return through Multyfarnham village at about 11.15am. Members can then decide if the they wish to take part in the hill climb (we hope everyone would give it a go) and have their tea and scone in Weirs pub in Multyfarnham after their climb or go straight for the tea and scones in Weirs and continue their spin back to Mullingar.

The first rider off will be at 11.30. Thanks to Weirs Pub in Multyfarnham will open early (11.15am) to facilitate the tea stop for those heading straight back to Mullingar and then for the other riders after their run on the hill climb.

The course is from Multyfarnham Village to the entrance of Wilson's School (approx 2.5km). There are two parts to the hill with a flat section in between at the level crossing.

Riders will start in one minute intervals from 11.30am. For anyone unfamiliar with a hill climb it is basically a very short time trial on a hilly course.

Its should only take a few minutes for each person to do their time and there will be great spectating along the course. Prizes for fastest rider from each of the A, B and C group and will be presented at the Christmas Party.
