"A" Group Notes by Michael Murtagh
A small group of 8 riders took off from base at Columb Barracks. The group was much smaller than normal, the reason no doubt was some were in Omagh watching Damien Shaw storm to victory in the National Champs, others in Croker watching the footballers storm to victory over Meath.

However, we made our way into the wind via Rochfortbridge, Rhode, Daingean and to Tullamore for a well earned tea stop. The pace picked up on the way home after Kilbeggan. A strange spin in may ways, with Tosh doing early attacks and a major attacker sitting in minding himself!
Over 90K done, with fresh legs, Ken taking the sprint finish win. All in all, a very enjoyable spin.

Huge congratulations to Mullingar man Damien Shaw on his terrific win today.
