    Group A Banner

The A-Group is home to both racing and strong touring riders. The typical distance of sunday spins are 95 to 110km. There is usually a short petrol station tea stop and toilet break included in the spin. The A-Group welcomes new riders from other groups - leaders and senior A-Group members are always willing to give advice to new A-Group riders.

The A-Group endorses the clubs ethos which is that no rider should be left behind on the road in a club spin - this obviously excludes the agreed "push for home" portion of the A-Group spin! Over the Winter/Spring the A-Group follows a structured training plan. This begins in late October. The aim of this structured training is that by March / April riders are ready to perform in the racing season or longest/toughest touring events.
