There will be no formal club activity, including spins, until further notice. The decision comes after the recent rapid rise in positive Covid-19 cases nationwide.
GET YOUR BIKE WINTER READY Full wrap rear mudguards are mandatory from Oct 26th. Two suitable models are ‘SKS Race Blades Long’ and ‘Bontrager NCS’. - It’s recommend also fitting a front mudguard as they keep your feet dry and warm. - A rear red light should be fitted. - Dig out the winter items of clothing like shoes covers, long gloves, headbands etc so you are ready when the temperatures fall. - Make sure you bike is in good mechanical order, including tyres. Updated Clubhouse Roster Cycling Ireland Accredited Courses: The committee are currently in the process of compiling a list of members who have completed Cycling Ireland accredited courses. Please contact secretary@lakesidewheelers.ie If you have a Cycling Ireland accredited qualification and wish to be included. The list will be uploaded on the club website and posted in the Clubhouse. |
